These are photos of the
restored inscriptions on the Chicksands obelisk
that stands out in front of
the priory. The inscriptions had been badly
weathered and two of them
were practically illegible. We started raising
money for this project in the
spring, had the inscriptions cleaned in
August and finally repainted
at the end of November.
