Family Albums
The family album could easily be a most treasured possession. It is indeed a treasured keepsake because a brief moment in the lives of family members is captured on each picture.  Unfortunately only one family member has it and that is sad because when it is passed on, someone is left out in the sharing of all those precious memories. Worse yet, when someone passes on, certain pictures may be divided between family members and the pictoral record is broken. Now such a situation can be corrected and the album can actually grow with each member of the family. Thanks to the advent of VCR's and video tape each picture can be copied onto a video cassette and each family member can then have their own copy of the family album. Each subsequent generation can add to the family record. I am able to copy your pictures onto videotape and provide a very attractive, library presentation case with your family name and make as many copies as you may require. This is one of my favorite aspects of video work. Now, every family member can have a copy of this treasure and no one needs to be left out.. Shown here is a picture my mother gave me when I went overseas in 1952. I have carried this picture with me for more than 46 years. She is no longer with us. On the right is a picture my sister just sent, Sept. 2000. My younger sister happened to mention how she had always liked the picture on the left. Now she has it on the videotape album I prepared for every family member. The picture, right, wasn't discovered until nine years after she passed away. Treasures keep turning up. The actual cost is so little when we consider the enormous pleasure it has brought to her descendents, nieces and nephews. In our case, the photographic history begins in 1862 during the civil war. I added music, names and titles and the concept of the family album was changed in an instant because grandchildren and great grandchildren are now interested in the family's history. Another exciting concept we are undertaking is adding the family genealogy to the videotape.    Each video album is finished off with a presentation library case with graphics included.
