"You asked about Susannah's faux-Bracewells. Yes, they were
legally Bracewells, but not genetically, of course. They blithely
went about calling themselves "Braswells", evidently
oblivious to the truth since they persisted in using common
"Braswell" Christian names such as RICHARD, WILLIAM, etc"
Rebuttal
Let's see, faux means fake or imitation. Thanks to
Carey Brazil for making it clear that he is a real faux Bracewell for
he was born a Carey O'Lee Brazil.
Next he became Carey
O. Bracewell and to the present form of Carey H. Bracewell.
And like the proverbial duck that walks like a duck... is a duck, he
is a Brazil. Although he has changed his name several times,
genetically, it would appear that he is still a Brazil. But that is
not the point. He has assumed three different versions of his
identity ending up, thus far, with the name "Bracewell" in
just a few years. By his written words, we are made well aware that
his actions and motives are beyond reproach while the descendents of
Robert Bracewell, Jr. are illegitimate (a much nicer choice of
word than he normally uses) according only to his interpretation
of an illegible will and his inflammatory statements and apparently a
hidden agenda. Why? We can only guess... and search out the answers
because of his offensive onslaughts. Because of his attacks, I cannot
in good conscience, simply stand by and allow his baseless assaults
on someone I have always held in high regard... Dr. Roy B. Braswell,
Ph.D., my uncle, go undefended when my intervention could make all
the difference.

What does open records have do to with anything?
Nothing was concealed! The fact is Colonial
Law specifically
required that when the will was recorded, the original was to be
retained by the court and held there open to public inspection forever!
So we see this is just more diatribe on the part of Carey to muddle
the situation.

The will literally speaks volumes. It is, as Uncle
Roy said, it simply is not legible, therefore, no credible
conclusion can be reached. This is a classic example of how a
historical "Revisionist" might twist truth in order to
support an agenda. Click here

to the style, but it is well worth the effort. It should be
remembered that if any person invents just one little thing, it opens
the door to questions about everything he has ever done.

I think we are pretty well documented and are in
very good company. At least none of us has changed or abandoned the
name we were born with.

possible exception of the one you found on GEDCOM; I haven't seen her
evidence--}is a descendant of these Bogus Braswells."

Forget it. If her evidence
did in fact substantiate the lineage,
it would never be admitted because it would be acknowledgement that
all of Carey (Brazil) Bracewell's statements were inaccurate and
perhaps too many of his advocates would have to acknowledge their
errors. Not only that, but by what or whose authority makes Carey
(Brazil) Bracewell the Supreme Delineator of truth or fiction or who
is legitimate or illegitimate?

I, and perhaps several hundred others, can hardly
wait. Will the "Document letter" be out before his often
promised web site is up and running? Will it be by someone other than
Carey (Brazil) Bracewell? Will it be on line for all to see?
