We have two basic trail ride programs. The most popular are the trails of Bandera which are about sixty miles from Austin and is an all day excursion. Judith Becker of Twisted Oaks Farm is the Trail Boss. Being born and raised on a working ranch in Central Texas, Judith literally has a life time of experience. Nobody knows Bandera as well as Judith as she has been riding the trails of Bandera for many, many years. Good sense, discretion and a sense of self preservation prevents me from telling how many years, just many.

For the most part, the horses used for this ride are well experienced at Bandera and because of the terrain it is necessary that each rider have some previous experience. Initially, this part of the program is not for novice or beginning riders. For date availability and rates e-mail your request together with a telephone number and we will get back with you.

For local trail rides of shorter duration we will stay near Austin. We have easy, scenic bridle paths through a nice variety of conditions ranging from heavily wooded areas to flat open pastoral areas. We have a goodly number of deer and wild turkey and because of our "No Hunting" policy the wildlife is not too easily frightened by our intrusion into their world.

For the more experienced rider, after demonstrated ability, we have some areas which often, depending on the time of the year, provide for a more challenging experience ranging from very pleasant, easy paths created by wildlife.
