Wedding albums are much the same as the Family Albums with one exception and that is that many people today have videotape of the wedding and few pictures. With a wedding videotape I have an optional feature and that is where I can capture a moving picture and convert it into a still picture on the videotape album or include a portion of the tape into your video. One popular effect is to capture a still from a videotape, hold it for a few seconds and then release it back into the live video portion.

The pictures shown here are from a wedding that took place many years ago and were stored in a plastic envelope. Apparently the pictures were all but forgotten, now they are a part of their living history. And, for the record, her husband was very pleased that I wanted to use them for this page. He was very surprised and delighted with the finished product. At the time of this wedding VCRs and video cameras were not available, as a matter of fact they weren't even heard of.

This bride had 75 pictures which were copied onto videotape and with the music of her day, it made a nice program. As it turned out, she had quite a production and she was the director. The music, according to her brother, made it absolutely perfect. I'm delighted and share in his enthusiasm. I can, in most cases, find the type of music for any period. It may not be an actual selection, but it will be music fitting the time and lifestyle of the generation.

The picture of the bride with her mother is a special treasure and now she can share it will all the members of her family. She found her Video Album, with music, to be not only pleasing to watch, but cost effective as compared to having copies made of all the pictures. This is especially true in the event negatives are no longer available. She was able to have copies of the videotape made and sent to each member of her family. She told me, later, that they were pleased and grateful and to that I can only say what a wonderful gift!
